Decent husk furnace with good fuel cost savings for our small scale rice mill operation. The zero fuel cost concept works well when rice husk supply is consistent. We faced some challenges with husk moisture content during monsoon season affecting combustion efficiency. NICPL team provided phone guidance but an on-site visit would have been more helpful. The product quality is reasonable for the price but after sales regional support in Odisha needs significant improvement from NICPL.

The indirect heating system works well and grain quality has improved compared to our old direct fire burner. Our main concern is that ash removal frequency is higher than expected during peak season requiring more labor attention.
